I’m 59, but I’ve done my best and most complicated stuff in just the past few years. I’m slow, for sure, but slow is not necessarily bad, and it’s more because I’m being careful and deliberate than just old. Working fast and late is not always smart. In fact, it’s sorta dumb.

So much of coding has nothing to do with mental gymnastics. You need to be cooperative, humble, observant, and patient. I have tons more of that stuff than I did even 10 years ago.
